There Will Be Days (April 2017).
A delightful listening experience, There Will Be Days blends the band's strong acoustic sound with adventurous arrangements and honest lyrics. Casati has found their own voice as a unique blend of folk and jazz that strikes a balance between sincere and direct
words elevated by musical inventiveness. The opening track and first single from the album “The Void” warns against allowing others to decide what is right for you, and features the band’s three-part harmonies. The title track “There Will Be Days” epitomizes the group’s sound with its bluegrass beat, memorable chorus, extended musical interlude, and the otherworldly harmonies of the outro.
The album covers a range of emotions, from tender ballads like “Hold On To Me” and “Sleepwalking,” to the social commentary of “Mother’s Pearls,” to the whimsy of “Bicycle Built for Two.” The hurdy-gurdy brings a unique medieval texture to “The Ugly Truth.” The album concludes with “Before You Go,” with the message of living in the moment.
